The Arts of the Pamlico

City of Washington’s Human Relations Council

are teaming up to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
Art and cultural activities will be happening throughout the national celebration, which begins September 15 each year.
  • September 8 – Heritage Art for Kids at Moore Aquatic Center (10 AM – 1 PM)
  • September 22 – West Side Story Broadway HD (7 PM).Turnage Theatre Big Screen. Free with suggested donation of $5
  • September 29 – Hands On Arts Festival at Festival Park in Washington, NC. Free festival of arts and crafts, music and dance.
  • October 13 – I.C. Comedy opens for Stand Up Comedian Shari Diaz & Friends at Historic Turnage Theatre (7:30 PM). Tickets are $5 at door.
  • October 14, Free Latin guitar and Hispanic dance performances start at 1:30 PM. Including Elliott Frank and his East Carolina University Music Students perform a Latin guitar concert at the Historic Turnage Theatre (3 PM). Free event, donations appreciated.
