Prepping for Dorian

The Historic Turnage Theatre in downtown Washington is been buttoned down for hurricane Dorian.

Debra Torrence, Executive Director of arts of the Pamlico Historic Turnage Theatre alongside Mike Sharpe of Harbor Church and Lindsey Prewitt owner of southern boutique worked to put the finishing final steps of closing down the theater this morning.

All are hoping the theatre roof which must replaced will hold up.

The theatre is a key economic driver in the downtown.
