Wyldwood – BCTMA’s Spring Regional Concert Series

BCTMA’s Spring Regional Concert Series – Wyldwood from 7 PM – 9 PM in the Arts of the Pamlico’s Turnage Gallery.
This young band that excels in traditional instrumentation and harmonies. The band is composed of Sarah Hollis on fiddle, Caroline Tanner on banjo, and Phil Lanier on guitar. This inventive group explores many phases of traditional music.
Admission is free, Donations are accepted. Sodas and Popcorn are available for purchase. Family Friendly!
BCTMA also presents their popular Variety Show on May 30 from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Turnage Theatre. This month’s show is hosted by Rob Cuthrell and brings you a variety of traditional music entertainers. Admission to the show is free and donations are appreciated. The Variety Show is always a fun event and features talented local musicians playing their unique take on traditional songs.
BCTMA hosts traditional music jams on Thursday evenings at 6:30 and Saturday mornings at 10:00 at the Turnage Theatre. String musicians are welcome to come and play, and traditional music fans are also invited to come and enjoy the music. All skill levels are welcome. The jams are free, informal and lots of fun. The Beaufort County Traditional Music Association is a grass roots non-profit organization that has promoted the performance and enjoyment of traditional music in Eastern NC for over ten years.
