November 1 & 2, 2019

Historic Turnage Theatre, Washington NC

Submissions due via Film Freeway by July 31, 2019.

Featuring Amateur, Professional and Student films from NC film makers or about North Carolina. Eligible students must be attending a NC high school, college or university. Amateurs must be non-professional full-time film makers. The festival will be held at the Historic Turnage Theatre in downtown Washington, North Carolina on November 1 & 2, 2019. Opening November 1 with the winning Best Overall film shown preceded by a meet & greet with some of the judges, film makers & cast. Tickets on sale August 1, 2019.


Entries will undergo a tiered judgement system. Submissions online via Film Freeway at https://filmfreeway.com/MarqueeonMain.

  • First Tier- Entries are correct and fees paid. Failure to submit correctly or pay fees will result in the films disqualification.
  • Second Tier- Submissions are assigned to judges who specialize in the various fields of Submission.
  • Third Tier- Category Winners compete for Best Overall

2019 Submission Categories: Submissions by FilmFreeway only. If chosen as a finalist a hard copy (DVD) must be provided to the festival, or film risks elimination. Winners will be notified by September 30, 2019 by email.

Rules & Fees: Applicants may enter as many entries in a single category as they like and may enter the same entry in multiple categories.
