Friday Meeting Cancelled – Theatre Camp
August 9 @ 1:30 pm - August 13 @ 5:00 pm EDT
Dear Families – Due to a positive COVID test of a Broadway Kid camper reported to us on Thursday evening, August 12, the scheduled gathering of campers on Friday, August 13, 2021 will not be able to be offered. As Camp Instructors were working with youth from the Broadway Kids Camp and the Theatre Camp, we are immediately taking steps to limit the potential for spread immediately. Please contact Ethan Wolf with questions about the camp at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like a refund for the final day of this camp, please contact Lexie Buck at email@example.com. Thank you.
Theatre Camp is an amazing experience where students get to write and perform an original play that they create! Students will learn techniques to become a better performer, such as: acting, playwriting, and set building. All these techniques will be brought together to create a fun and entertaining performance at the end of the week.
Instructor: Ethan Wolf is a recent ECU graduate with degrees in Theatre for Youth and Theatrical Movement Studies. He loves to learn new things and is passionate about theatre, martial arts, and stage combat. Ethan is a certified actor combatant with the Society of American Fight directors, and aspires to one day become a certified teacher with the organization. Most recently, he was awarded a grant to produce a performance about poetry in its many different forms. He enjoys walking with his dog in the park, playing piano, and juggling.

Teens are also welcome to contact us about volunteering as well to build their experience through supervised, unpaid internships.
Youth campers may participate in week-long camps in the morning or afternoon or both.
If campers want/need a full day, they may participate in the morning and afternoon camps and stay thru the gap time (12:30 – 1:30 PM) bringing their own lunch.
Camps will serve 10 youth unless they are theatre camps which will serve up to 15 youth each. Broadway Camps serve up to 25.
Art and youth instructors staff the camps. Instructors are college graduates in theatre and art graduates and/or are local art teachers.
