Fashion Exhibit: The Little Black Dress
May 1 - August 30
The Little Black Dress Collection by Jeffery Phipps.
View this exhibit in person from May -August 2021. Rotating fashion exhibits are on display in the Arts of the Pamlico’s (AOP) Historic Turnage Theatre throughout the year.
The Little Black Dress virtual digitized collection was created by photographer, Meredith Loughlin. The digitized collection was supported to provide access to the humanities when AOP could not be open to the public. Funding was provided by NC CARES: Humanities Relief Grant from the NC Humanities Council (www.nchumanities.org). Funding for NC CARES has been provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the Coronoravirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act economic stabilization plan.
AOP is currently open limited hours due to the impact of COVID19 closing the theatre for over a year. Virtual programming like this has aided AOP in continuing to provide access to the arts and continue to build strong arts and cultural programs for fully reopening in Fall 2021. Currently AOP is open on Saturdays from 10 AM – 2 PM.
