General Operating Funds

(available all year)

Donations will be used to support the general operating costs of the Arts of the Pamlico.

All donations welcome throughout the year. Gift letters are provided for donations over $250 in late January/early February each year.

Raise the Roof (in 2019)

Donations will be used to raise and replace the failing Historic Turnage Theatre roof over the next year. All level of donation welcome. A plaque with the names of donors will be mounted in the theatre post roof replacement. Details at https://www.artsofthepamlico.org/raise-­‐the-­‐roof/.

Youth Arts Scholarship Fund – On Robin’s Wings

(available all year)

Description: Support a youth attending a spring or summer arts program or camp

Levels:       – $125 per camp/per child for week long, half day camps or $350 per child for a 3 week Broadway Kids Camp, including snacks and costume

Advertising: Name and/or logo on camp and press materials and AOP website

Live Music Support – Acoustic & Sundays in the Park

Description:   Support musical performances at Turnage Theatre or waterfront in Washington. Level: Range $250 (single performance to $2,500 (Sundays in Park series)

Country Dance

Event Title:    Boots & Pearls

Reach:           200 participants at event Date:               September 14, 2019

Location:       Outdoor Venue in Washington NC

Description:   BBQ dinner, dancing & music by DJ Divine.Tickets $35, $50 to reserve group table

Community Theatre Show Rights

Description:  Support community theatre to help pay for show costs. Levels:          $500 – $1,500 per show

Annual Gala Event

Reach:           200 participants at event Date:                                 January 18, 2020

Location:       Washington Civic Center, Washington NC

Description: Annual premier fundraiser for arts council. Features live music during dinner, a free glass of champagne, a step & repeat banner for photos, special entertainment, dinner & music for after dinner dancing. Tickets for the Gala are $60 per person, $100 table reservation fee.

The Embers Holiday Concert

Event Title: Embers Holiday Concert Reach:           430 participants at event Date:                             December 20, 2019

Location:       Historic Turnage Theatre, Washington NC

Description:   Annual holiday concert by the popular Embers with Craig Woolard on stage at the Turnage Theatre. Tickets are $25.

Level:             $500 Sponsorships include a pizza party for 10 with the band, pre-seating for 10 at 5:30 PM. Doors open at 6 PM. Logo on all press material & tickets, table top signage (limited to 10 sponsors)

23rd East Carolina Wildlife Arts Festival

(confirm by November 15, 2019)

Description:   AOP coordinates the annual East Carolina Wildlife Arts Festival in Washington, NC each February.

The event features the unveiling of the NC Duck Stamp, Duck Decoy Carving, Indoor & Outdoor Vendors, Duck Calling, Retriever Dog Demos, Kids Crafts & Food.

Date:              February 8 & 9, 2020

1st Annual Pickin’ on the Pungo Bluegrass Festival

Description:   AOP is partnering with the Belhaven Chamber of Commerce to bring an annual Bluegrass festival to Belhaven each January..

The event features Friday evening community events and a day of bluegrass music.

Advertising: Advertising for the festival includes spots on 5 radio stations, on social media, in print (Washington Daily News articles and ads, AOP monthly calendars, posters, fliers & brochures) & TV if trades are secured. Description: AOP hosts 3 free community outdoor festivals annually: Hands On Arts Festival (September 2019), Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept/Oct 2019) & Blues & Jazz Festival (October 2019), Film Festival (Jan 2020)

Holiday Homes Tour

Event Title:    Annual Holiday Homes Tour Reach:           300 participants

Date:                          December 7, 2019 Location:             Downtown Washington

Description:   Annual tour of holiday homes fundraiser for Arts of the Pamlico. Features 10 decorated homes. Tickets $20/$25 day of.

Level:           $500 Sponsorships include name on poster and tickets, in press & on maps

*Advertising: Prior to the event articles written by AOP for the Washington Daily Newspaper will include references to event sponsors. Some events include Washington Magazine ads.

Ads distributed via 5 radio stations via Curtis Media (101.9, 99.5, 103.3, 106.5 & Beach Boogie). Use of Visit NC and TV spots for some events.

Online advertising for this event occurs as well via AOP’s Constant Contact messages, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), website and print materials (fliers & posters).
