Explore the colors, stories, and traditions of Hispanic folk art while creating something uniquely your own. This free workshop brings art and conversation into the garden, offering a welcoming space to paint, connect, and find inspiration in nature.

We’ll begin with a short talk exploring traditional folk art and painting techniques from Mexico, Peru, Spain, El Salvador, and beyond. View examples, exchange stories, and spend time sketching your design freehand or using templates on a small canvas or canvas tote bag.

Then, settle into the garden to paint as we explore how the natural world inspires artists across cultures. No painting experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to create.

Take your canvas or tote bag home at the end of the session, ready to seal or continue painting another day.
