A Vibrant Celebration of Service, Strength, and the American Spirit 🇺🇸✨

Join the Beaufort County Choral Society at the historic Turnage Theatre for a monumental afternoon as we honor the 250th anniversary of the United States. "Those Who Serve Mankind" is more than just a concert—it is a community-wide "love letter" to our nation and a heartfelt tribute to the brave individuals who protect and define our ideals.

This uplifting performance unites a diverse array of local talent to tell the story of our shared history and future. Experience the soaring harmonies of the Beaufort County Choral Society and the Beaufort County Mass Gospel Choir, accompanied by the rich, evocative sounds of the Beaufort County Community Orchestra.

The program also features:

  • A Special Tribute: Moving readings from soldiers’ letters performed by dramatic reader Jeff Gould.

  • Community Presence: A ceremonial appearance by the Washington High School ROTC.

  • Visual Storytelling: A stirring multimedia slideshow honoring our heritage and those on the front lines.

From beloved American classics to modern tributes, this concert celebrates the courage and dedication of our armed forces and first responders. It is an inspiring reminder of the resilience and spirit that continue to shape our nation 250 years later.
