Area artists and AOP Members are invited to join us for the Opening Reception.

The Alice Hubbard Stallings 61st Annual Juried Fine Arts Exhibition is named in honor of Alice Hubbard Stallings, a founding member of the Arts of the Pamlico and a passionate advocate for the arts throughout her life. Her dedication and family’s support of the arts in our community has transformed the show’s reach and access to artists across the state.

Exhibition doors will open at 6:30 p.m. A special presentation from the juror, Lynn Mehta, will offer critiques in the Palace Theatre beginning at 7:00 p.m. The exhibition will then open in the gallery from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., providing an opportunity to view and shop a variety of stunning artwork from talented North Carolina artists, meet the creators, and purchase original pieces.

The awards make for an exciting showcase of talent with over $6,000 in cash prizes up for grabs! Top honors include the $2,000 Best of Show and the $1,000 Alice Hubbard Stallings Award of Excellence. These awards not only celebrate artistic excellence but also support artists in our community. The People’s Choice Award is chosen by you – visitors to the Historic Turnage Theatre, so stop by and vote between November 15 andDecember 15, 2025.
