2026 Tech Challenge!

Goal: Raise $21,250 by December 31, 2026

Current Need: $15,750 (as of 7/23/26)

AOP is raising $21,250 to match a Eddie & Jo Allison Smith Family Foundation Challenge Grant to replace & purchase tech equipment to support lighting and sound needs for all types of performances on stage & in the Gallery at the Historic Turnage Theatre.

You can help the theatre be ready for its next vibrant season of programs with your donation to

  • install a mobile screen in Gallery for programmings - FUNDING SECURED!

  • replace our ancient light board — run by floppy discs! before it quits

  • add & replace broken lighting on stage and in the house

  • replace the very old Mac computer in tech booth and add IMac in recording room - FUNDING SECURED!

  • add choir and boom mics for sound quality - FUNDING SECURED!

  • purchase ipads for mobile stage tech set up and support during performances…
